Let's steal this idea
I loved this. Front page of NY Times today: Commuters' Cocktail Hour Likely to Keep Rolling. For the commuter trains east to Long Island and north to Connecticut you can buy booze on the platforms from uniformed bartenders after midday, and some of the trains have bar cars in the afternoon, so you can have a wind down G&T or beer or chardy on the way home. How civilised! Would make the 6.07pm to Glen Waverley so much more palatable, don't ya think?
